Description

Astoria is a thrilling board game that offers not one, but two unique gaming experiences in one package. On one side of the board, you'll find the Combination Version, a team-based game where players take on the roles of powerful mages and alchemists racing to find a cure for the ailing king of Astoria. By placing gems and using alchemy powers, teams must work together to produce the components needed for the cure, all while trying to hinder their opponents' progress. The game ends when one category of gems is depleted, making every move count in this 40-minute battle of wits. But that's not all - flip the board over and you'll discover the Epic Version, a game of diplomacy, roleplaying, and magic. Here, players must navigate the challenges of saving the city of Astoria from invading barbarians, a revolt, and a fierce dragon, all while trying to uncover a cure for the king's illness. With traitors lurking among the mages, players must keep their wits about them, accusing suspicious characters and working to defend the city from destruction. With multiple endings and a scoring system that allows for competitive play, Astoria offers a rich and immersive gaming experience that's perfect for 2 to 6 players looking for a fun and challenging adventure.
