Description

Inferno is a thrilling board game that drops you into a dark, medieval world of horror and fantasy, where you'll guide sinners to their respective circles in Hell. With one to four players taking part, you'll embark on a journey that can last anywhere from 45 to 120 minutes, giving you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the game's intricate mechanics. Designed by Fernando Eduardo Sánchez and published in 2024, Inferno is a complex game that may take some time to learn, but trust us, it's worth it. As you navigate the game's two-part board, featuring the nine circles of Hell and 14th-century Florence, you'll experience a unique blend of economic and worker placement mechanics. Each turn is divided into two phases: the Inferno Phase, where you'll advance a soul through Hell, earning Infamy Points if you successfully guide it to its corresponding circle, and the Florence Phase, where you'll engage in power games and palace intrigues, choosing to play actions at city locations or expose sinners to advance on the Hell registry. With its rich theme, intricate gameplay, and stunning miniatures, Inferno is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and the player with the most Infamy Points at the end will be declared the winner, deemed untrustworthy and victorious in this twisted game of soul management.
