Description
For Glory is a game of strategy and skill, where two players take on the roles of gladiator school owners in ancient Rome. The game is divided into two phases, the Machinations Phase and the Arena Phase, which work together to create a thrilling experience. During the Machinations Phase, players build their deck and prepare for battle by recruiting gladiators, securing patronage, and training their fighters in various tactics. As the game shifts to the Arena Phase, players control their gladiators in intense battles, using tactic and reaction cards to gain the upper hand. With each gladiator having unique stats and abilities, finding the right combinations is key to emerging victorious. The first player to earn six glory points by winning arena battles is declared the winner, earning their place as the greatest lanista of Rome in this 60 to 90 minute game of deck building and combat.
