On the Road is a fun and fast-paced board game where you get to play as a music band trying to reach the Sunshine Festival with the most fans. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can join in on the excitement, and a playtime of just 20 to 30 minutes makes it perfect for a quick game night. Designed by Gabriele Bubola and Leo Colovini, this 2023 release is all about traveling through different landscapes, gathering fans, and making sure they make it to the festival to see you perform. As you play, you'll use movement cards to visit new places and travel back to familiar festivals, each represented by a unique tile. The more you visit a particular landscape, the more fans you'll collect, which are represented by meeples that you'll place in a bag. But beware, because when night falls, you'll draw from the bag and your fans will either get to watch you play or get stuck in line at the toilet. The game ends when all the festival tickets are sold, and the band with the most fans on the floor wins. With its simple yet engaging gameplay, On the Road is a great choice for anyone looking for a lighthearted and entertaining board game experience.
