Description

Egizia: Shifting Sands is a strategy game where 2 to 4 players travel down the Nile, collecting resources to construct famous Egyptian monuments. With a playtime of 90 minutes, this game is perfect for those familiar with board games, as the rules are of normal complexity. Players place boats and pawns along the river, blocking opponents and forcing strategic decisions about where to place their remaining pieces. As players move northwards, they must manage their workers, feeding them with grain produced in fields affected by the Nile's floods. Stones from quarries are used to build monuments, including the new Colonnade and mysterious statues, which offer dynamic rewards and challenges. With randomized rewards and strenuous requirements, Egizia: Shifting Sands adds new depths of strategy and balance to the original game, making it a fresh twist on a timeless classic.
