Description
Rail Baron is a classic train game where 3 to 6 players compete to build a railroad empire across the United States. The game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's a challenging and strategic experience that can take 3 to 4 hours to play. Players move trains along historical railroad lines, collecting delivery payoffs and trying to purchase railroads to assemble a network that gives them access to important destinations. As you play, you'll feel like a latter-day Jay Gould or Cornelius Vanderbilt, building your empire and accumulating wealth. With $20,000 and a train to start, you'll make money on trips from city to city and eventually have the chance to buy up railroads like the B&O and C&O. The game is all about strategy and fortune, with players' fortunes rising and falling until the last rail baron is bankrupt or has accumulated $200,000 to win.
