Description

In Steamwatchers, you'll lead a nomadic clan through a frozen Europe, where steam columns bursting from the ground are the key to survival. These geothermal oases allow for food growth and are highly sought after, but they're also fleeting and come with a deadly price: a mysterious sickness known as The Bane. As the leader of your clan, you'll need to navigate this harsh world, managing resources and making strategic decisions to outmaneuver your opponents. With 2 to 5 players competing over 90 minutes, Steamwatchers is a game of area majority and influence, where simultaneous action selection and variable player powers add a layer of complexity and replayability. The goal is simple: accumulate the most geothermal resources, either by outlasting your opponents or reaching 10 resources before the scenario ends. Will your clan emerge victorious in this frozen landscape, or will The Bane and rival clans prove too great a challenge?
