Description

Get ready for a rootin'-tootin' good time with A Fistful of Gold, a quick-draw card game set in the wild American West. In this fast-paced duel, two players go head-to-head, each trying to outmaneuver the other to claim a stash of gold. With simple rules that can be explained in a flash, you'll be up and running in no time, ready to take on your opponent in a series of simultaneous action selections. Each player starts with a hand of nine cards, which they'll use to try and outguess their opponent, playing their cards face down in a series of turns. The twist in A Fistful of Gold comes when the cards are revealed, and the winner of each turn is determined by the difference between the two cards played. If the difference is small, the highest card wins, but if it's large, the lowest card takes the gold. With each turn lasting just a few seconds, the game flies by in 10 to 15 minutes, making it the perfect filler game for any game night. Designed by Mathias Daval and Maëlle Valmy, A Fistful of Gold is a minimalist masterpiece that's all about double guessing and strategic thinking, so saddle up and get ready to draw your cards in this thrilling game of cowboy cunning.
