Description

Get ready to join the fight for Earth's survival in Robotech: Invid Invasion, a cooperative board game designed by Dave Killingsworth. Published in 2020, this game throws you into a desperate battle against the insect-like alien Invid, who have invaded the planet. As part of a tight-knit team of freedom fighters led by Lt. Commander Scott Bernard, you'll work together with up to five other players to defeat the Invid and their powerful Queen Regess. With a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, you'll need to strategize and make the most of your action points, dice rolling, and variable player powers to succeed. As you navigate the grid of facedown Invid Cards, you'll encounter enemies, ambushes, and valuable allies, all while racing against the clock to clear a path to Reflex Point. Once you've reached the Invid's main base, you'll face off against the Regess and her guards in an epic battle. With the fate of the planet hanging in the balance, you'll need to work together and use your unique abilities to defeat the Regess before the returning Expeditionary Force unleashes a devastating bombardment, ending the Invid threat and your heroes' lives. Will you answer the call to save humanity and emerge victorious, or will the Invid prevail and destroy all life on Earth? The outcome is in your hands in Robotech: Invid Invasion.
