Description

In Galenus, you're transported to Imperial Rome where medicine is an art of showmanship and bitter rivalry. This worker placement game challenges you to become the most renowned doctor of your time, rivaling the great Galenus himself. With up to 6 actions to plan and resolve, you'll need to strategically recruit and treat patients, gaining knowledge in one of four humors, and publish works to showcase your expertise. As you compete in medical contests, expending your focus and knowledge to gain reputation, you'll have to balance your actions carefully. Will you rejuvenate in the baths, adopt a new philosophy, or acquire herbs to aid your work? With 60 to 120 minutes of playtime, you'll have ample opportunity to outdo your opponents and earn Galenus' respect, entering his inner sanctum as a true medical mastermind.
