Description

In the tile-laying game Click A Tree, you'll take on the role of a Ghanaian farmer, adapting to the harsh climatic conditions and making the most of your surroundings by planting crops in the shade of trees. Your goal is to strategically plant trees, deploy your harvest workers, and reap the most harvest. The game is designed for one to four players, and a typical play session lasts between 30 to 60 minutes. Despite its depth, the game rules are very simple and can be explained quickly, making it accessible to a wide range of players. The game is all about building patterns and making tactical decisions. You'll start by placing task strips on your player board, which will guide your progress throughout the game. As you collect landscape tiles and harvest tiles, you'll need to think carefully about how to arrange them to complete tasks and earn fruit. The twist is that your fruit markers can't rise to the next level until you've completed a task, adding a fun layer of challenge and strategy to the game. With each completed task, you'll remove the task strip and push the remaining tasks up, giving your fruit markers room to move up and earning you more points. As you play, you'll need to balance short-term gains with long-term strategy, using your harvest tiles to collect fruit and fulfill your tasks. The game ends when one or more players trigger the end of the game by moving their fruit markers past certain number markers on their player board. The player with the most valuable fruit collection wins, making Click A Tree a fun and competitive game for players of all ages. With its unique blend of pattern building, simultaneous action selection, and tile placement, Click A Tree is a great choice for fans of abstract strategy and environmental games, and its educational themes make it a great choice for players looking to learn about sustainable farming practices.
