Description
In A la carte, you'll take on the role of a semi-psychotic cook trying to hone your culinary skills. The game is simple to learn, with rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to 2 to 4 players. Each turn, you'll have the opportunity to turn up the heat, season your dish, or attempt to steal another cook's recipe. Heating your hotplate is a random affair, with a die roll that could raise the heat on everyone's plate. The real fun comes in spicing your dish, which involves up-ending small bottles filled with colored wood pellets. If too many pellets come out, your dish is ruined and it's time to start over. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, A la carte is a quick and entertaining game that's all about action and dexterity. First published in 1989, this classic game has been delighting players for years with its unique blend of luck and skill.
