Description

Emperor's New Clothes is a game that brings a classic Hans Christian Andersen tale to life in a fun and interactive way. Players take on roles, but with a twist - they're not entirely sure what resources they'll need to score points. Each turn, blank dice are rolled three times, and players use these rolls to pretend to acquire the resources they think they need. But here's the catch - other players can try to sabotage their efforts or bluff their way to success by playing cards that affect the dice rolls or other players' moves. With its unique blend of betting, bluffing, and deduction, Emperor's New Clothes is a game that's all about having a good time with friends and family. It's easy to learn, even for those who are familiar with board games, and a typical game takes just 15 minutes to play. The game supports 2 to 8 players, making it a great option for parties or game nights. Designed by Jonathan H. Liu and first published in 2014, Emperor's New Clothes is a lighthearted and humorous take on the classic tale, with a dash of strategy and social interaction thrown in for good measure.
