Description
In Ctrl, players compete to dominate a 3D cube by strategically placing their colored bricks, trying to cover their opponents' bricks in the process. The game starts with a 3x3x3 cube and each player's colored block stuck into one of its holes. On their turn, a player adds a cube of their color to the side of one of their blocks, then grows their color by adding two blocks in a straight line, potentially covering other players' blocks. The goal is to climb high and block others from blocking you, as the final score is calculated by counting each unblocked square of your color visible from all sides and the top. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 20 minutes, Ctrl is a fun and fast-paced abstract strategy game for 2 to 4 players, designed by Julio E. Nazario and published in 2020.
