In Tea Garden, you'll embark on a journey to build and expand your own tea empire in the serene Chinese Yunnan region. As the owner of a tea garden, your goal is to cultivate and harvest the finest tea leaves, navigating the complexities of fermentation and trade to elevate your tea's quality and value. With six grades of tea quality to strive for, you'll need to strategically manage your resources and make the most of your deck of cards to achieve success. Each game round, you'll have the opportunity to perform up to four main actions, using the strength of your cards to build new tea gardens, acquire new cards, trade with caravans, ferment your tea leaves, and harvest more tea. As you navigate the game, you'll also have the chance to take secondary actions, such as navigating the river, producing tea cups, or practicing tea studies at the university. With a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, Tea Garden is a game that requires strategic thinking and planning, but is still accessible to players familiar with board games.
