Description

Adaptoid is a fast-paced and strategic board game designed for two players, where each game lasts around 20 minutes. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but don't let that fool you - this game requires some serious abstract strategy skills. In Adaptoid, you'll be commanding an army of evolving creatures that need to be fed to survive, and your goal is to eliminate all of your opponent's adaptoids. The game takes place on a hexagonal board, where each player has a supply of adaptoid bodies and appendages that can be added to enhance their capabilities. As you take turns, you'll go through three phases: Movement, Growth, and Feeding. You'll move your adaptoids around the board, trying to outmaneuver your opponent, while also growing and enhancing your creatures by adding legs and claws. But be careful, because if your adaptoids don't have enough space to graze, they'll starve to death, giving your opponent a point. Capturing your opponent's adaptoids is also a key part of the game, and the adaptoid with the most claws wins in a battle. The game ends when one player reaches 5 points or is completely eliminated from the board, making for a thrilling and competitive experience that will keep you coming back for more.
