Description
In The Name of the Rose, a medieval murder mystery game, 2 to 5 players take on the roles of monks trying to uncover the identity of a criminal among them. Designed by Stefan Feld and published in 2008, this deduction game is easy to learn and plays out over 75 minutes. Players collect suspicion points and clue points as they move their monks around the board, trying to figure out who the other players are controlling. As players take turns moving their monks and using special cards to influence the game, they must also manage their suspicion points and clue points carefully. The game is full of bluffing and deduction, as players try to throw each other off their trail while gathering information to make an accusation. With its unique blend of mechanics and medieval theme, The Name of the Rose is a thrilling game of mystery and detection that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
