Description

Age of Comics: The Golden Years is a worker placement management game where you run a publishing company during the golden age of comics. You'll position your editors to perform various publishing tasks, such as hiring, developing ideas, printing, and sales. As you print comic books, you'll need to pay with monetary resources and idea tokens, and display the comic book cover along with writer and artist cards. The value of your comics will depend on the creatives you've chosen, and you'll aim to accumulate fans and make money by publishing comics and creating a strong portfolio. The game is designed for 1 to 4 players and takes around 50 to 120 minutes to play. With its normal complexity level, it's easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and dive in. Your goal is to score the most victory points by publishing original comics, accumulating fans, and earning money, all while navigating the challenges of the comic book industry. By the end of the five rounds, the player with the most victory points will be declared the winner.
