In the ancient world of The Way of the Bear, four bear clans are on a mission to prove themselves worthy of the throne. With simple rules that can be learned in no time, 2 to 4 players embark on a journey to acquire the qualifications needed to become the next king. The game is all about traveling from town to town, building sacred bear statues, and collecting knowledge tokens in areas like religion, education, military, and commerce. As players place their bear steles and pay the equivalent in number and color to the temples, they're competing to be the first to collect all the necessary tokens.
