Description

In 1987 Channel Tunnel, you'll take on the role of a team leader from either Britain or France, working to unite the two countries with a massive engineering project. This competitive two-player game challenges you to manage your team of workers, develop technology, and secure funding to bring the tunnel boring machine to the meeting point. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, you'll need to think strategically and make the most of your actions to earn points. As you play, you'll use a worker placement mechanism to perform actions, playing colored discs to take your turn. The twist is that each action can be interrupted by your opponent if they play a taller tower of discs, adding a fun layer of competition to the game. With normal complexity rules, fans of board games will have no trouble learning and diving into this epic engineering feat, where the goal is to develop your technology tracks and reach the center of the tunnel length without deviating too much from the plan.
