Description
In the game Fortuna, you'll embark on a journey through ancient Rome, striving for influence and power in the empire. As an ambitious Roman, you'll leave your village and travel towards the City of Rome, seeking wealth, happiness, and prestige. Along the way, you can work the land, trade goods, and even build an army of Centurions to aid in your quest. You'll also have opportunities to find happiness in marriage and contribute to the empire's growth, earning the favor of the Emperor. As you near the Emperor's Palace, the game becomes more intense, and your contributions to the empire will be rewarded with golden Fortuna coins. The player who has done the most for the Emperor and the people of Rome will emerge victorious, with the highest number of Victory Points. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 60 minutes, Fortuna is an exciting game for 2 to 4 players, offering a unique blend of dice rolling, hand management, and worker placement mechanics.
