Description

The Seven Years World War is a wargame that drops you into the midst of a global conflict that shaped the world from 1756 to 1763. You'll take on the role of a coalition of European powers, navigating the complexities of war, diplomacy, and economics to dominate the world. With two to four players, each representing a different coalition, you'll have to strategically use your military, diplomatic, and economic instruments to outmaneuver your opponents. The game features a range of major powers, including the Austrian Empire, France, Great Britain, and the Manchu Empire, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. As you play, you'll be immersed in a world of 18th-century geopolitics, with a game map that shows the world as it was during that time. The square grid overlay helps to regularize movement and position, while the distorted geographic boundaries of the various empires and powers add a touch of realism. Your goal is to gain control of strategic objectives, which will give you the upper hand at the peace table. With a playtime of around 240 minutes, this game is perfect for those who enjoy a challenging and immersive experience. Designed by Joseph Miranda and first published in 2004, The Seven Years World War is a classic wargame that's sure to appeal to fans of strategy and history.
