Description

Limits is a fast-paced card game that's all about tracking colors and pushing your luck. Designed by Uwe Rosenberg and Elisa Teague, this 2001 game is simple to learn but challenging to master. With two to six players, you'll be competing to earn the most points by cleverly playing cards and challenging your opponents. The game starts with each player receiving five cards, each showing one of five colors, and the reveal of the top Limit Card, which sets the maximum number of allowable cards in each color. As you take turns, you'll need to use your memory to keep track of the cards that have been played and try to stay within the limits. You can choose to play cards to the discard pile, drawing new ones to add to your hand, or challenge another player's move, potentially earning points for yourself and penalties for them. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, Limits is a quick and exciting game that's perfect for a fun evening with friends. The simple rules make it easy to jump in, but the memory and strategy elements will keep you on your toes. Will you be the first to accumulate the most points and win the game, or will your opponents outmaneuver you? With Limits, you'll need to stay focused and adapt quickly to come out on top.
