Description

Hannibal & Hamilcar is a game of epic struggle between ancient Rome and Carthage, where two players compete for dominance in a conflict that's as much about politics as it is about military might. Designed by Jaro Andruszkiewicz, this game takes around 40 to 200 minutes to play and is definitely not for the faint of heart - the rules can be complicated and take some time to learn. But for those who persevere, the reward is a deeply strategic and immersive experience that simulates the classic clash between these two superpowers of Antiquity. Players use cards to move generals, levy troops, and gain control of provinces, all while introducing historical events that can turn the tide of battle. When armies meet, a separate set of battle cards determines the winner, adding an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the game. With its unique blend of area majority, card play, and dice rolling mechanics, Hannibal & Hamilcar is a game that will challenge and engage even the most experienced players.
