Description

Idus Martii is a quick and simple game for 5 to 8 players that's all about plotting and negotiation. Players take on the roles of Senate members, trying to figure out who shares their views on the fate of Julius Caesar. The game is a hidden role game, where you need to identify allies and enemies while keeping an eye out for those who are only looking out for themselves. In this 15-minute game, players are dealt different roles each turn, including the Consul, Edils, and Praetor, each with their own powers and abilities. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Idus Martii is easy to pick up and play, making it a great choice for a fun and fast game night. Designed by Miguel Bruque and published in 2019, Idus Martii combines elements of memory, teamwork, and deduction to create a thrilling experience that's full of bluffing and negotiation.
