Description
In Credit Mobilier, 2 to 5 players take on the role of investors in a high-stakes game of railroad building and stock trading. The game is set in the United States, where four fictional railways are racing to construct track and move goods westward. Players invest in these railways and the mysterious Credit Mobilier, a construction company with ties to the Union Pacific Railroad Company. As players roll the dice, they can choose to lay track, move freight, buy stock, or pay dividends, all while navigating the limitations of the colors rolled. The game ends when two colors of blocks remain untransported to the Pacific Coast, and the player with the most cash on hand is declared the winner. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 60 minutes, Credit Mobilier is a fun and engaging game of economic strategy and train-themed excitement.
