Description

Northgard: Uncharted Lands is a game of conquest and exploration set in the age of Vikings, where 2 to 5 players control their own Viking clan. The goal is to achieve victory by earning fame through exploring, fighting, and controlling prized territories. With a focus on streamlined rules and mechanisms, the game has a fast-paced and smooth rhythm of play, allowing players to adapt their strategies to their opponents' moves and the expanding board. Players earn fame by playing cards that represent various actions, and they can improve their deck by choosing new cards at the end of each turn. Managing resources is also crucial, as players need to build new buildings, upgrade their warriors, and keep their units healthy and happy, especially during the challenging winter phase. The game ends after seven turns, or sooner if a player gains control of key territories, making for a thrilling and unpredictable experience.
