Description

T8 is a fresh take on the classic trick-taking card game, designed by Christopher Wray and released in 2023. What sets it apart is its unique twist on traditional gameplay: with eight suits and eight cards per suit, players must think strategically to outmaneuver their opponents. The catch is that players can't follow suits previously played, and they play two cards per turn into the trick, adding a new layer of complexity to the game. This mechanic also introduces a new scoring system, where the lower of the two cards played scores positive points, but any cards lower than that score negative points, making every move count. Whether you're playing with friends or flying solo, T8 offers a fun and challenging experience for 1 to 4 players. The game is easy to learn, but with a playtime of 10 to 30 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to master your strategy and come out on top. In solo mode, you'll face off against three automated opponents, trying to give them negative scores while earning a positive score yourself.
