Welcome to Nile Artifacts, a thrilling board game for 2 to 4 players that's all about collecting and offering precious artifacts to the gods along the ancient Nile river. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 20 to 30 minutes, this 2021 game designed by Matthew Dunstan and Brett J. Gilbert is perfect for a quick and fun gaming session. As you sail up and down the Nile, you'll stop at one of the nine ports to pick up artifact cards, gold, or even turn your ship around to sail in the opposite direction. Your goal is to collect the right combination of artifacts to offer to the monuments currently being built, each requiring a specific type or set of artifacts. The more donations you make to a monument, the more victory points you'll receive when it's completed. With game mechanics like contracts, hand management, and set collection, you'll need to strategically plan your moves to outdo your opponents. As the monument deck empties, the player with the most victory points wins, earning the favors of the gods.
