As a player, you'll start with a deck of cards that you'll use to perform actions like colonization, naval movement, and battle, with the beautiful but treacherous waters around Sicily and Sardinia/Corsica as your playground. You'll have the chance to expand your deck with new cards, including powerful Strategy cards that give you a unique edge. As you navigate the game's 90 to 120 minute playtime, you'll need to manage your resources carefully and make tactical decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. With multiple paths to victory, including capturing the enemy's capital or simply earning the most victory points, you'll need to stay adaptable and focused to emerge victorious. With its engaging blend of deck building, hand management, and simulation, Hands in the Sea is a challenging and rewarding experience that's sure to appeal to fans of wargames and ancient history.
