Description

Hands in the Sea is a strategic two-player game that drops you into the midst of the First Punic War, where Rome and Carthage clashed from 264 to 241 BC. As a player, you'll start with a deck of cards that you'll use to perform actions like colonization, naval movement, and battle, with the beautiful but treacherous waters around Sicily and Sardinia/Corsica as your playground. You'll have the chance to expand your deck with new cards, including powerful Strategy cards that give you a unique edge. As you navigate the game's 90 to 120 minute playtime, you'll need to manage your resources carefully and make tactical decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. With multiple paths to victory, including capturing the enemy's capital or simply earning the most victory points, you'll need to stay adaptable and focused to emerge victorious.
