Description

In The House on the Borderland, you play as a Recluse, along with his dog Pepper and sister Mary, as they explore the mysteries of their ancient home and try to survive. The game is a solitaire experience where you decide the actions of the characters, navigating through the house and uncovering its secrets. With a playtime of 30 to 90 minutes, the game is easy to learn and can be completed in a relatively short period. As you progress through the game, you'll be writing a diary and trying to discover the mysteries of the house before the Luminous Speck appears. The game ends when this happens, or if all characters are killed on the map. Your goal is to have the Recluse alive, with all characters, a complete diary, and a full understanding of the house's secrets. Based on the 1908 book by William Hope Hodgson, this game is a thrilling adventure into the world of cosmic horror and fantasy.
