Description

Celles: The Ardennes, December 23-27, 1944 is a World War II simulation game that drops you into the intense fighting at the peak of the German Ardennes offensive. As one of two players, you'll take on the role of either the Germans racing against time to cross the Meuse River, or the Allies trying to block their advance and launch a counter-offensive. The game's chit-pull system introduces uncertainty and excitement, with random activations that simulate the challenges of fuel shortages, command uncertainty, and piecemeal reinforcements. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 180 minutes, this game is perfect for players who love strategic warfare and counter-attacks. The game's scale, with each turn representing 12 hours and each hex equal to 1 mile, provides a rich historical feel, making you feel like you're right in the midst of the Battle of the Bulge. Designed by Roger Miller and published in 2012, Celles is a thrilling wargame that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
