Description
ECK is a unique and challenging solo trick-taking card game where you play against an AI opponent, also called ECK. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and can be played in a short amount of time, typically between 15 to 30 minutes. In ECK, you'll attempt to collect trick cards by winning exactly the number of tricks shown on the available cards. The cards feature polygon shapes as ranks, with increased complexity meaning increased trick value, and six different colors as suits. As you play, you'll draw a hand of 13 cards and play one trick for each card, with ECK playing a card based on the rules for following suit. The goal is to win exactly the number of tricks shown on one of the available trick cards, collecting that card if successful. Collecting four trick cards wins the game, but be careful, as ECK has ways to win too. With its simple yet strategic gameplay, ECK is a great option for fans of card games and solo players looking for a fun and engaging challenge. Designed by John Burton and published in 2020, ECK is a great choice for anyone looking to try something new and exciting in the world of solo gaming.
