Description

In Animalia: Preventing Extinction, you and up to two friends join forces as a team of researchers for the Institute for Wildlife Conservation, working together to halt the extinction of endangered species. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll embark on missions to research and protect animals, collecting data and raising funds to support your conservation efforts. Each mission focuses on a specific animal, and you'll need to communicate effectively and manage your hand of cards carefully to succeed. As you play through the game's 30-minute rounds, you'll take turns playing Animal cards in tricks, trying to win the highest-valued card in each trick's color. Your goal is to collect the right cards to fulfill your Mission cards, and if you succeed, you'll set those missions aside and move on to the next round. But if you fail, the game is over. With a campaign mode that lets you play solo or with friends, you can take on a series of challenges across different continents, carrying over your progress and funds from one to the next. Will you be able to work together and prevent extinction, or will your efforts fall short? With its unique blend of cooperative gameplay, hand management, and trick-taking, Animalia: Preventing Extinction is a thrilling and educational experience that's perfect for animal lovers and gamers alike.
