Description

Shadows of Brimstone: Other Worlds – Blasted Wastes is an expansion that drops you into an unforgiving alien desert, where the harsh environment and deadly creatures will test your survival skills. This distant planet has been used as a prison world by nearby civilizations, who abandon their worst criminals on the surface with no hope of escape. The few who manage to survive form vicious warbands to scavenge the desert dunes, searching for resources and buried treasures. As you navigate this treacherous world, you'll encounter toxic storms, sulfur acid pools, and other hazards that will push your abilities to the limit. With the Blasted Wastes expansion, you'll get to explore a brand new OtherWorld, complete with 18 map tiles that can be combined to create a unique landscape for each playthrough. You'll also encounter new enemy types, including Wasteland Scavengers, Sand Crabs, Wasteland Warlords, and Tribal Ghost Warriors, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The expansion introduces a new alien Barter Town, where you can trade resources and gather information to aid you in your quest. The game is designed for 1 to 4 players and can be explained quickly, making it easy to dive into the action. With a playtime of around 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world and take on the challenges that await. The Blasted Wastes expansion builds on the core Shadows of Brimstone game, introducing new mechanics and features that enhance the overall experience.
