Get ready to dive deeper into the world of Caverna with the Water Expansion, designed by James Butler and published in 2015. This exciting addition to the base game Caverna: The Cave Farmers introduces new ways to explore and manage your underground and above-ground environments. With six new furnishing tiles to discover, you'll be able to create even more unique and thriving ecosystems. Whether you're playing solo or with up to six friends, you'll have the opportunity to experience the game in a whole new way, with playtime ranging from 30 to 120 minutes. The new tiles in the Water Expansion can be placed in specific locations on your Home board, such as underground lakes or the outside river, adding a fresh layer of strategy to the game. For example, you might choose to build a Fairy Pool or a Wishing Well on an underground lake, or a Gold Stream or Harvest Spirits Shrine on the outside river. Alternatively, you could place a Mushroom Grotto next to an underground lake, creating new opportunities for farming and economic growth.
