Misty Waters: At the World's Edge is a thrilling adventure game for 1 to 4 players, where you'll embark on a journey of exploration, combat, and strategy in a mysterious archipelago. As the captain of your own sailing ship, you'll navigate through uncharted waters, discovering hidden treasures, encountering strange creatures, and battling against rival ships. The game board features a large map of the archipelago, with marked sea lanes and a weather panel that affects your actions, adding an extra layer of complexity to your decisions. With a playtime of 120 to 300 minutes, you'll have ample time to develop your strategy and outmaneuver your opponents. As you explore the islands, you'll uncover exploration cards that describe adventures, encounters, and events, which can either aid or hinder your progress. You'll also build a deck of Action Cards, which serve as useful tools to help you in difficult situations, and engage in sea battles with other players or AI-controlled ships, including pirate vessels and mythical creatures like the Flying Dutchman. Your ultimate goal is to become the governor of the Misty Waters, which can be achieved through winning an election, conquering islands, or acquiring the legendary Conquistador Treasure.
