Villagers: Shifting Seasons is the perfect expansion to breathe new life into your Villagers base game, offering a fresh wave of excitement and challenges for 1 to 5 players. Released in 2022, this expansion is designed by Haakon Gaarder and introduces a range of new modules that increase variability and opportunities for growth, making each game a unique experience. The expansion adds a new layer of depth to the game, with features like Event cards that offer new actions and scoring opportunities, and powerful Special villagers like the Engineer, Inventor, and Merchant who can bend the rules to your advantage. The expansion also introduces a new suit of villagers, Teams, which can be recruited to add an extra food or build icon, and a new way to play solo with the Monastery Solo Mode, offering a more relaxed single-player experience.
