Description
Get ready for a thrilling cooperative experience with Ghost Stories: Black Secret, the expansion that takes the classic Ghost Stories game to a whole new level. In this 90-minute game, 2 to 5 players join forces to protect a village from the evil Wu-Feng, but this time, one player takes on the role of the villain, directly harassing the monks and making the game even more challenging. Wu-Feng can now place ghosts on individual monk boards, use them to cast powerful spells, or bring in demon miniatures to search for his remains in the catacombs, bringing the shadow of Wu-Feng to fight the monks directly. As the monks, players must work together to defeat the evil forces, using their special abilities and blood mantras to aid them in their fight. These mantras come in different levels, allowing players to adjust the difficulty of play, and can be used to gain Qi, a powerful resource that can dehaunt village tiles when collected. With its modular board, area movement, and dice rolling mechanics, Ghost Stories: Black Secret offers a unique and exciting experience for fans of cooperative games, fantasy, and horror. Designed by Antoine Bauza and published in 2011, this expansion builds on the success of the original game, providing a fresh and thrilling challenge for experienced players.
