Description

In Sammu-ramat, you and your friends take on the roles of advisors to the legendary queen of the Assyrian Empire, working together to keep the empire strong and protected from internal unrest, external threats, and natural disasters. This cooperative game, designed by Besime Uyanik and released in 2024, challenges 1 to 5 players to balance the needs of different regions, managing military, supplies, health, and diviners to ensure the empire's stability. Each advisor has unique abilities and strengths, which you'll use to play action cards and move around the board, trying to overcome the challenges that come your way. As you play, you'll draw a Challenge card that sets the scenario for your game, presenting you with a specific mission to complete during your 60-minute playtime. With normal complexity rules, this game is easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and the variable setup ensures that each game is different. You'll work together to complete your mission, making sure the empire remains stable and Queen Sammu-ramat is safe. With deterministic combat and a focus on cooperation, Sammu-ramat is a fun and engaging game that's all about working together to succeed. Will you be able to help the queen overcome the challenges of her reign and emerge victorious, or will the empire fall to internal strife and external threats? There's only one way to find out.
