This expansion is part of the redesigned Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team series, which has been revamped to bring you the ultimate skirmish experience. With simple rules that can be picked up quickly, you can dive right into the action, using a combination of action points, dice rolling, and clever tactics to outmaneuver your opponent. As you play, you'll be taking control of either the T'au Pathfinders or the Adepta Sororitas Novitiates, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. The T'au Pathfinders are the high-tech special forces of the T'au Empire, bringing advanced tech and firepower to the battlefield. On the other side, the Adepta Sororitas Novitiates are trainee Sisters of Battle, still learning the ropes but no less deadly. The expansion comes with 23 Citadel Miniatures, representing the two full kill teams, as well as terrain pieces and a double-sided gameboard to recreate the battle-scarred war zone. The game also features hidden victory points, line of sight, and three-dimensional movement, making each battle feel dynamic and unpredictable. With the included 96-page rules manual, you'll get background information on the Vedik System and the forces fighting within it, as well as new rules, datacards, and background tables for both kill teams. The manual also includes a host of additional special rules and missions set in this war zone, giving you plenty of opportunities to test your skills and try out new tactics.
