Description

Aerodrome is a classic miniatures game that drops you into the midst of World War I's intense aerial battles. As a biplane pilot or tail gunner, you'll engage in dogfights with up to 11 other players, navigating the gray skies of Europe in a game that's as easy to learn as it is thrilling to play. The game's visual appeal is a major draw, with 1/72 miniature aircraft mounted on clear acrylic hex bases that bring the action to life. The large hexes on the game board, representing a WWI battlefield, provide a strategic backdrop for your aerial maneuvers. Players plot out three moves at a time, choosing from eight possible maneuvers that allow for a range of tactics and strategies. From straight ahead and Immelman turns to slips and stalls, each move requires careful consideration of your plane's position, orientation, and altitude. With five altitudes to navigate and the risk of spinning out of control, the game demands a combination of skill and luck. After movement, pilots can fire on enemy planes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game. With playtime ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, Aerodrome is the perfect game for anyone looking for a fun and challenging experience that's steeped in history and strategy.
