Agency

Friends and Communities with Agency

Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure with Agency, a partnership trick-taking game designed by Daniel Newman and published in 2024. In this game, you'll team up with a partner to infiltrate a foreign organization, but be warned - other teams have the same mission. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll dive into a world of strategy and cunning. As a 4-player game, you'll share hands with your opponents to your left and right, while your partner sits across the table from you. This unique twist adds a layer of complexity to the classic trick-taking mechanic, as you'll need to work together with your partner to outmaneuver your opponents. In Agency, specific cards hold points, and it's up to you to collect them. The game features a "point trick" system, where cards like the 3s, 7s, and 5s in the black suits are worth points, while the red trump suit cards are not. But that's not all - Wall cards can be used to separate shared hands and even score points when played strategically. With a playtime of just 20 to 40 minutes, Agency is the perfect game for a quick yet intense gaming session. So gather your friends, form your partnerships, and get ready to take on the challenge of Agency.
