Description
Schadenfreude is a quick and easy to learn trick-taking game that's perfect for 3 to 5 players. With a playtime of just 15 to 20 minutes, you can easily fit in a game or two with friends. The goal is to score points by collecting cards, but be careful not to go over 40 points or you'll be out of the running. The twist in Schadenfreude is that the winner of a trick is the player who played the second highest card of the lead suit, making for some interesting strategy and surprises. With simple rules and fast gameplay, Schadenfreude is a great addition to any game night. Published in 2021 by designer ctr, this base game is a great introduction to the world of trick-taking games, and with an expansion available, you can keep the fun going.
