Description

Get ready to elevate your Alhambra experience with the Designers' Expansion – Orchard / Major Construction Projects, a thrilling addition to the classic city-building game. Designed by Dirk Henn and Emanuele Ornella, this expansion brings new excitement to the table, suitable for 2 to 6 players and playable in just 45 to 60 minutes. The rules are simple and easy to grasp, making it accessible to both new and seasoned players. Published in 2019, this expansion offers a fresh twist on the original game, promising hours of fun and strategic gameplay. The expansion consists of two unique modules: Orchard and Major Construction Projects. In Orchard, each player receives a personal board where they collect and arrange fruit tiles to score points. As new buildings emerge in the market, fruit tiles are randomly drawn and placed on the building tiles, giving players a chance to acquire them and strategically place them on their boards. Meanwhile, Major Construction Projects introduces double building tiles that can significantly accelerate your Alhambra's growth. These tiles are auctioned off, allowing players to outbid each other and expand their city by two buildings in a single move. With 15 double building tiles and 6 player markers included, the competition is sure to heat up. Whether you're a fan of careful planning or high-stakes bidding, the Designers' Expansion – Orchard / Major Construction Projects has something for everyone. Compatible with various Alhambra base games, including Alhambra, Alhambra: Big Box, and Alhambra: The Red Palace, this expansion seamlessly integrates into your existing game, offering a new layer of depth and complexity. So gather your friends and family, and get ready to build, collect, and outmaneuver your way to victory in this captivating expansion to the beloved Alhambra series.
