Description

Get ready to build your own Alhambra in Alhambra: The Red Palace, a thrilling board game designed by Dirk Henn and published in 2023. In this game, 2 to 6 players take on the challenge of constructing their own medieval city, complete with intricate buildings and walls. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but with a playtime of 45 to 60 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to get immersed in the game. With the help of money cards, players purchase buildings of different types, which are displayed on the building market, and place them on tiles to create their unique Alhambra. As you build your city, you'll encounter guards, a new mechanic that adds an exciting layer of strategy to the game. These guards can be placed on your walls to earn bonus points during scoring rounds or discarded to perform powerful extra actions during your turn. The game is all about collecting sets of buildings, managing your hand, and placing tiles strategically to create the longest connected wall segment. With its engaging gameplay and beautiful 3D wooden buildings, Alhambra: The Red Palace is a must-play for fans of city-building games. Plus, with a range of expansions available, including Alhambra: The Falconers and Alhambra: The Treasure Chamber, you can keep the fun going long after your first playthrough.
