Description
In Antinomy: Solo Flare, you're on a mission to gather paradox crystals before the fabric of spacetime is irreparably damaged. This solo expansion to the original Antinomy game introduces new challenges and mechanics to keep you on your toes. With six new cards, including Depleted Relics and Solar Flares, you'll need to adapt your strategy to succeed. The Depleted Relics can aid in travel but lack the elemental power of other relics, while the Solar Flares are a constant threat, interfering with your spellcasting and unable to be added to your hand. As you play, you'll aim to collect 5-6 paradox crystals, depending on the difficulty level you've chosen. But be warned, a timer is ticking away in the form of a deck of cards, and if it runs out, you'll lose the game. On each turn, you'll need to carefully decide whether to form a paradox, which can help you progress but also draws a new card from the deck, potentially introducing new obstacles. With its easy-to-learn rules and engaging gameplay, Antinomy: Solo Flare offers a thrilling 30-minute experience that will keep you coming back for more. Designed by Mike Mullins and published in 2019, this expansion is a must-play for fans of science fiction and card games, and a great introduction to the Antinomy series.
