Description

Get ready to dive into the world of Tanares, a high-fantasy campaign setting where you can experience the thrill of adventure with 1 to 6 players. In Arena: The Contest – Tanares RPG, you'll embark on a journey that combines role-playing, dice rolling, and strategy, all set in a richly detailed world with a dark history. The game is simple to learn, with rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to new players, and its 90-minute playtime makes it a great fit for a fun evening with friends. As you explore the world of Tanares, you'll discover a land where war has summoned powerful dragons, resetting history and changing the landscape forever. The Empire, which forbids large armed gatherings, holds the world together, but this also means that your team may become one of the most powerful units out there. You'll build an adventure team, earn career points, level up, and even design your own headquarters and flag. With the game's paper-and-pencil mechanics and role-playing elements, you'll be fully immersed in the world, making choices that have a real impact on the scenario. Whether you're playing with a group or in solo mode, using a 300+ card deck that lets 1 to 4 players play without a GM, you'll have the power to change the world's fate and become a hero. The game is part of a larger ecosystem, with numerous expansions available, including the Dragon Collection Expansion, which introduces new dragons like the Gold Dragon and the Penumbral Dragon, and the Scenario Pack, which adds new 3D scenery to your game. With Arena: The Contest – Tanares RPG, you'll experience the best of both worlds, combining the excitement of a board game with the depth of a role-playing game. So gather your friends, grab your dice, and get ready to enter the world of Tanares, where adventure awaits and the fate of the world is in your hands.
