Description
Athens: The Birth of Politics drops you into the heart of ancient Athens, where politics is a cutthroat game of alliances, negotiations, and cunning maneuvers. Designed by Rick Heli and released in 2018, this game is perfect for 4 to 6 players who aren't afraid to wheel and deal their way to the top. With a playtime of 120 to 300 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to develop your strategies and outmaneuver your opponents. The rules are straightforward enough for experienced board game players to pick up quickly, but the gameplay is complex and engaging, with variable player powers, card drafting, voting, and simulation mechanics all coming into play.
