Description
Avignon: Schism is a quick and simple yet strategic game for two players that can be played in just 10 to 20 minutes. Designed by John du Bois and released in 2017, this expansion builds on the popular Avignon series, including Avignon: A Clash of Popes and Avignon: Pilgrimage. With easy-to-learn rules, players can dive right into the action, using area majority and influence mechanics to outmaneuver their opponent. The game's abstract strategy and religious theme may seem complex, but the rules are straightforward, making it accessible to new players. As a card game expansion, Avignon: Schism offers a fresh take on the series, challenging players to navigate the intricate world of medieval politics and religion in a battle for spiritual supremacy. With its short playtime and simple rules, this game is perfect for a quick match anytime, anywhere.
